Chocolate Orange Dream Protein Donuts

Donut time? Always and forever. Breakfast was chocolate orange dream protein donuts. Still in bliss from the previous cookies and cream protein donuts; wanted more today :DIMG_1090[1]Chocolate Orange Dream Protein DonutsMakes: 4Donut Base

  • 1/3 cup raw old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP almond meal/flour
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 30-40 orange stevia drops
  • 1 stevia packet
  • 1 double chocolate chunk quest bar

Orange Creamsicle Icing

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 TBSP orange creamsicle whey protein (from truenutrition.com)
  • 1 stevia packet

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grind the oats into a flour. Then add the remaining donut batter ingredients (except for the quest bar) and blend again. Break apart 1 double chocolate chunk quest bar and swirl it into the batter. Spray a donut mold pan with nonstick spray. Pour batter amongst 4 donut molds. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.For the icing, mix the three listed ingredients.
